(NAACP)
Miami-Dade
Branch
recognizes
hip-hop
culture
and
music
as
one
of
the
most
influential
forces
behind
the
movement
and
direction
of
today’s
urban

population.
We
want
to
enforce
the
understanding
that
while
this
culture
plays
a
significant
role
in
shaping
America’s
future,
it
also
needs
to
take
it’s
place
in
helping
to
address
and
to
change
the
problems

in

as
is
clearly

today.
Our

will

These
goals
include
increasing
college

especially
in

increasing
high

graduation
rates,
decreasing
absenteeism,
decreasing

increasing

CANDIS
FRANCIS
“THE
NEW
DANCEHALL/R
&
B
QUEEN”
Check
out
the
new
single
“SHAKE
DEM
OFF”
Candis
strives
for
positive
influences
moving
forward
and
she
let’s
her
audience
know
that
she
won’t
be
tolerating
any
negativity.
Her
aggressive
but
comedic
lyrics
attest
to
her
stand
on
haterz.
“I
want
everyone
to
shake
off
the
haterz
and
continue
to
achieve
their
goals.
Don’t
let
them
keep
you
down
for
a
minute.
There’s
enough
room
in
the
world
for
all
to
succeed.”
