Philadelphia Eagles franchise gave quarterback Donovan McNabb an
early holiday present, he just agreed to a 12-year contract with
the Eagles in which he has the potential of earning $115 million,
do I need to say that this is the highest contract negotiation in
NFL history. This deal lasts until 2013 and includes a $20.5 million
signing bonus. He will receive $13.5
million up front and the rest after next season. With his bonus
McNabb will earn a total of $30 million over the next three years
and $9.5 million in base salary a year over the span of his contact.
Damn!! You go brother!
In the infamous
words of the late, great BIG, “More Money, More Problems,”
and who knows this better than basketball great, Michael Jordan
who is filing a lawsuit against a woman identified as Karla Knafel,
who allegedly tried to extort $5 million from Jordan in order to
keep quite about an affair they had more than a decade ago. What
will they think of next?
Ladies, listen
to this: black women and other women of color are making their way
to the top of the corporate ladder. Researchers have found that
women have been promoted at least once and their overall income
increased 37% since 1998. This is largely because these women had
mentors; it is believed that mentorship is critical to the advancement
of Black women. With this being said:
Kim Osorio has been named Editor In Chief of the Source magazine,
this is the first time since the magazine was founded in 1988, that
a female is the head N*@! in charge.
